Our trip to Paris and Grenoble!

This train is a TGV.

I took this picture myself when I was in the train.

We could see the Eiffel Tower from the train station.

This is the Eiffel Tower.

Looking up at the Eiffel Tower.

Leo found a tiny Eiffel Tower inside the real Eiffel Tower.

These are a whale skeletons.

This is the front of a whale skeleton.

This is me and Leo and the stegosaurus of Paris.

Nico and Leo,
Thanks for posting these pictures of your trip.
The Eifel Tower is SO BIG! I can remember going to the top. It's windy up there, and you can see all of Paris.

The whale skeletons are amazing!

At first I thought the skeleton was a dinosaur. That is cool to see a whale skeleton. It is neat that the Eifel tower is hollow. It is funny that the Eifel tower has its own little Eifel tower...maybe the little one has an even littler one and so on.

This is why we went so long without posting to this blog -- the kids were away from the Internet. But Nico has a camera now (we gave him an old one because he was interested in taking photos) so we have lots of adventures to post!

We had fun looking over all of the photos that you guys posted -- the butterfly adventure was fabulous!!!

Nico loved the whale skeletons. We went to the museum to see the dinosaur skeletons and didn't even know they had whale skeletons too. But Nico can tell you all about the difference between whales with teeth and whales with filters for plankton (baleens) like the right whale skeleton he photographed here.

And our internet service at home has been down for a week. It's amazing how hard it is to live without the internet.
